성경에선 동성애를 명확히 금하고 있습니다. 그런데, 동성애자들은 성경말씀을 잘못 해석한 거라고 우기며 동성애를 미화, 합리화하기 위해 혈안이 돼 있습니다.

이는 예수님과의 인격적 만남이 없거나 말씀의 기초와 뿌리가 약한 사람들, 종교다원주의.자유주의신학.신복음주의.민중신학.해방신학.인본주의신학 등등에 경도된 신앙인들의 궤변에 불과합니다. 예수님께서도 간음한 여인을 불쌍히 여기시고 용서하셨지만, 다시는 죄를 짓지 말라(요 8:11)고 엄히 경계하셨던 것입니다. 

그리고 우리가 유념해야 할 것은 동성애만이 특별한 죄고 하나님나라를 유업으로 받지 못할 죄가 아니라, 음란자, 우상숭배자, 간음자, 탐색자, 도적, 탐람자, 술 취하는 자, 후욕하는 자, 토색하는 자, 불법한 자, 복종치 아니하는 자, 경건치 아니한 자, 거룩치 아니한 자, 망령된 자, 아비/어미를 치는 자, 살인자, 사람을 탈취하는 자, 거짓말 하는 자, 거짓 맹세하는 자, 기타 바른 교훈을 거스리는 자 등도 회개치 않고 죽을 경우 모두 이에 해당한다는 것입니다. 그러기에 우리는 동성애를 반대함과 동시에 모든 죄와 피 흘리기까지 싸우며 깨끗하고 성결한 삶을 회복하고 지켜내야 하는 것입니다.

물론, 오늘날 선천적이라 왜곡시키고 인권문제로 둔갑시켜 다수인권을 역차별하고 탄압하려는 동성애문제는 그 중 ‘특별한 죄’임을 명확히 인식해야 합니다. 동성애를 언급한 성경말씀을 읽고 우리 모두 주님의 뜻을 깊이 묵상했으면 합니다.

1. (창 19:5) [소돔과 고모라]

“롯을 부르고 그에게 이르되 이 저녁에 네게 온 사람이 어디 있느냐 이끌어내라 우리가 그들을 상관하리라”

[NIV] They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them."

[KJV] And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

2. 레위기 & 신명기 [율법]

(레 18:22)

“너는 여자와 교합함 같이 남자와 교합하지 말라 이는 가증한 일이니라”

[NIV] "'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

[KJV] Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

(레 20:13)

“누구든지 여인과 교합하듯 남자와 교합하면 둘 다 가증한 일을 행함인즉 반드시 죽일찌니 그 피가 자기에게로 돌아가리라”

[NIV] "'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

[KJV] If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

(신 23:17)

“이스라엘 여자 중에 창기가 있지 못할 것이요 이스라엘 남자 중에 미동이 있지 못할찌니”

[NIV] No Israelite man or woman is to become a shrine prostitute.

[KJV] There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

3. (삿 19:22) [기브아]

“그들이 마음을 즐겁게 할 때에 그 성읍의 비류들이 그 집을 에워싸고 문을 두들기며 집 주인 노인에게 말하여 가로되 네 집에 들어온 사람을 끌어내라 우리가 그를 상관(관계)하리라”

[NIV] While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men of the city surrounded the house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house, "Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him."

[KJV] Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.

4. 열왕기서 [역사]

(왕상 14:24)

“그 땅에 또 남색하는 자가 있었고 여호와께서 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 쫓아내신 국민의 모든 가증한 일을 무리가 본받아 행하였더라”

[NIV] There were even male shrine prostitutes in the land; the people engaged in all the detestable practices of the nations the LORD had driven out before the Israelites.

[KJV] And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

(왕상 15:12)

“남색하는 자를 그 땅에서 쫓아내고 그 열조의 지은 모든 우상을 없이 하고”

[NIV] He expelled the male shrine prostitutes from the land and got rid of all the idols his fathers had made.

[KJV] And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.

(왕상 22:46)

“저가 그 부친 아사의 시대에 남아 있던 남색하는 자를 그 땅에서 쫓아내었더라”

[NIV] He rid the land of the rest of the male shrine prostitutes who remained there even after the reign of his father Asa.

[KJV] And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land.

(왕하 23:7)

“또 여호와의 전 가운데 미동의 집을 헐었으니 그곳은 여인이 아세라를 위하여 휘장을 짜는 처소이었더라 ”

[NIV] He also tore down the quarters of the male shrine prostitutes, which were in the temple of the LORD and where women did weaving for Asherah.

[KJV] And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.

5. (롬 1:26-27) [바울]

“이를 인하여 하나님께서 저희를 부끄러운 욕심(정욕)에 내어 버려두셨으니 곧 저희 여인들도 순리대로 쓸 것을 바꾸어 역리로 쓰며, 이와 같이 남자들도 순리대로 여인 쓰기를 버리고 서로 향하여 음욕이 불 일듯 하매 남자가 남자로 더불어 부끄러운 일을 행하여 저희의 그릇됨에 상당한 보응을 그 자신에 받았느니라”

［NIV］26.Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.

27.In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

[KJV] 26.For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27.And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

6. (고전 6:9-10) [바울]

“불의한 자가 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못할 줄을 알지 못하느냐 미혹을 받지 말라 음란하는 자나 우상 숭배하는 자나 간음하는 자나 탐색하는 자나 남색하는 자(동성애자)나, 도적이나 탐람하는 자나 술 취하는 자나 후욕하는 자나 토색하는 자들은 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못하리라”

[NIV] 9.Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders

10.nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

[KJV] 9.Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10.Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

7. (딤전 1:9-10) [바울]

“알 것은 이것이니 법은 옳은 사람을 위하여 세운 것이 아니요 오직 불법한 자와 복종치 아니하는 자며 경건치 아니한 자와 죄인이며 거룩하지 아니한 자와 망령된 자며 아비를 치는 자와 어미를 치는 자며 살인하는 자며, 음행하는 자며 남색하는 자며 사람을 탈취하는 자며 거짓말 하는 자며 거짓 맹세하는 자와 기타 바른 교훈을 거스리는 자를 위함이니”

[NIV] 9.We also know that law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious; for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers,
